Compubits will work closely with the organisation during the initial stages of the deployment of Lynx-Tel.
The following activities will form part of the initial phase of the deployment undertaken to assess the scope of project:-- Analyse current Planning/Provisioning process
- Assess Format & Quality of available Data
- Reporting Requirements
- Interfaces Requirements
- Prepare & Agree Deployment plan
- Formulate a plan to collate and load the network and inventory data – this may require manual entry if no digital data is available
- Execute the data load process – this will include data cleansing processes and may require manual intervention
- Develop a detailed specification for the data entry process and enhance the applications to meet the requirements
- Collate the rules of provisioning the network elements – Order designations, network hierarchy bandwidth in use
- Enhance and update Lynx-Tel database engine to cross-check provisioning rules
- Specify and develop interfaces to existing systems
- Enhance and develop any specified reports
- Training – this will include in-depth training of a core team power users who will roll out the training to the rest of the organisation
- The power user team will also form a First line Lynx-Tel support team for the organisation
